“What compels me to fight this society is, of course, outrage over injustice, a love of freedom, and a feeling of responsibility for perpetuating and enlarging the human spirit — its beauty, creativity, and latent capacity to improve the world. I do not care to come to terms with an irrational society that corrodes all that is valuable in humanity, that eats away at all that is beautiful and noble in the human experience.”

Socialism

Reboot your social and economic order

"Revolutions do not begin with the thunderclap of a seizure of power—that is their culmination.

They start with attacks on the moral-political order and the traditional hierarchy of class statuses.

They succeed when the power structure, beset by its own irresolvable contradictions, can no

longer perform legitimately and effectively."

– Franz Schurmann

A Little

About Me

Yo! I'm Andre but I use the handle HydroponicTrash online. Why hydroponictrash? Because I grow plants with a hydroponic system made of trash.

I'm a hacker by trade, working as an offensive cybersecurity consultant - but I spend most of my time in the permaculture garden, or making DIY projects, writing speculative solarpunk fiction, and doing all sorts of fun (and sometimes dangerous) experiments.

What influences me?

I'm driven by radical politics, and borrow various ideas from anarchism, communism, social ecology and the degrowth/post growth movement. I'm a firm believer in creating an equitable world where we can demolish unjust social and economic hierarchies, and build a future based on mutual aid with each other and our ecosystem.
